Community Justice
On Track's Community Justice Program provides support to people (mainly men) with an intellectual disability who have complex support needs and have recently, or are about to exit the criminal justice system. Clients may include those who have had continuing contact with the criminal justice system, or have committed serious criminal offences.
The clients eligible for this program will have demonstrated a significant or imminent risk of re-offending, placing themselves at risk of harm, or potentially capable of risk of serious harm to others. Some individuals may have dual or multiple diagnoses (mental health, substance abuse, borderline personality disorder, autism amongst others, as well as an intellectual disability).
The CJP Program is funded through the Department of Ageing Disability and Home Care (DADHC) and the Office of Community Housing (OCH).
